Embrace Your Royal Identity
Here’s the truth: What you believe about yourself matters more than anything the world has to say. In fact, your beliefs about yourself shape who you become.

Balancing family responsibilities with workplace demands may challenge your confidence. Negativity in the news tries to convince you that success and happiness are out of reach. Meanwhile, countless TV shows and ads bombard you with messages that you aren’t beautiful or worthy enough.
Despite the negativity around you, you can rise above it all and live life as royalty—because royalty is a state of mind. Much of the Bible is trying to teach us this very lesson that will lead to peace, joy, and a growth mindset.
Consider Esther from the Bible. She was an ordinary young woman with no extraordinary education, training, or social influence. Yet, she staked her life on the belief that she was someone special. She embraced her God-given gifts and valued herself—not only for her outward beauty but for her inner grace and wisdom.
Esther’s story didn’t seem to start with a strong, confident woman. However, she faithfully followed the path God laid out for her, finding her confidence in God in the process. Esther’s ability to connect with others, earn their trust, and inspire their support opened doors she never imagined. But God had bigger plans for Esther than merely becoming queen. That position was merely a means to God’s greater plan for Esther’s life: saving her people from genocide.
Esther could have accepted that the death sentence proclaimed over all the Jews would surely be carried out as decreed. She could have hidden her Jewish roots, living comfortably in the palace while her people perished. However, she tuned out the negativity surrounding her and the fear within. She chose to believe in God, that He is good and carries out good plans for His people - even in dark situations. Sure enough, Esther staking her life on God’s faithfulness was a wise choice, and God used her to save His people.
Like Esther, your mindset shapes your destiny. When you believe you are loved, unique, and gifted, you will walk through life with confidence and influence. But living with a distorted self-image will keep you constantly battling feelings of doubt and inadequacy. These insecurities have the power to hold you back from fulfilling your true potential if you let them guide you instead of the voice of the Father. Your God-given dreams can only come true if you have the faith to reach for them.

It’s time to let go of your fears, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs. Stop living below your potential. Release your poor self-image and embrace a new, empowering view of yourself.
Make a decision today: Choose to believe the truth about your identity. Say “No” to the lies that tell you you’re not enough, and “Yes” to the truth of who you truly are—loved, valuable, and destined for greatness.
You are royalty. Live like it.
